Uquutaq Society—Low Barrier Shelters

In our endeavor with the Uquutaq Society, we acknowledge the architectural expertise provided by Edge Architects LTD. Our work focuses on understanding and addressing the unique needs, preferences, and cultural sensitivities of residents and staff. By prioritizing functionality, comfort, and sustainability, our designs serve as havens of cultural affirmation, reflecting our dedication to crafting solutions that resonate with the community’s aspirations. Currently, we’re supporting them in developing multiple housing projects, including low-barrier shelters spanning 19,369 square feet, by offering thoughtful furniture selections, engaging in collaborative design, and providing budget support.
