I certainly hope that the office of the future is like the one described in this article. From the possibilities of walls that raise and lower on request to furniture that expands and contracts with the touch of a button. The office buildings of the future too will have to adapt their structural, electrical and mechanical systems to accommodate these advancements. There will also be the opportunity for flexible work schedules and the continuation of freedom to sit where you choose. The cubicle will be gone and your workstation will have the flexibility to be open or closed depending on the work you need to finish. It is amazing to think that for all the work and cost that we invest into making our interior spaces work for us, the office will be able to accommodate anything we need it to.
