Extendicare (Canada) Inc.

Over a five year period we worked with Extendicare on developing the interior design program for furniture, furnishings, including plants, artwork and accessories and signage, for their 15 new long term care facilities, the first round was completed in summer of 2004. We are currently working with Extendicare and their purchasing group, SGP, on furniture planning and the selection and specification of furniture and furnishings for four of their new LTC homes located in Ontario including: Sudbury LTC (256 beds); Kingston LTC (192 beds); Stittsville LTC (256 beds) and Peterborough LTC (256 beds). In addition, we will be starting work on additional projects in Lindsay LTC (160 beds); St. Catharines LTC (256 beds); Orleans LTC (256 beds) and London (192 beds).

We are working closely with the owner and architects, Montgomery Sisam, to ensure that the furniture and furnishings selected respond to the physical and cognitive needs of the Residents, enhance the architecture, reflect the local characteristics of the community and meet Extendicare’s budgets and project timelines.
