Greenfield Global

The space was planned to support Greenfield’s teams by providing a balance between open and closed working spaces. The two sides of the floor plate were linked by a large community area complete with flexible furniture settings that supports lunch time, learning and brainstorming initiatives, team-building activities during and after hours. The design takes cues from cross hatching patterns from crop fields and the transitioning of wall and floor finishes represents the conversion of materials undertaken during manufacturing. The space also speaks to the sustainable practices used during their manufacturing process, including the introduction of a ceiling fan which allows passive cooling and air circulation, minimizing conventional HVAC. Also designed are a green wall and an art program that recognizes the connection to nature that Greenfield values.
