Groves Memorial Community Hospital

We developed the interior design program for this new 45 Bed, 152,000 sq. ft. acute care replacement hospital located on a greenfield site in Aboyne, Ontario. We worked closely with the architects and wayfinding team to develop a structured and coherent interior environment supported by the use of materials, finishes, colours and graphics, with the objective of reducing confusion, stress and anxiety. All material selections were reviewed in terms of infection control, maintenance, long term appearance retention and budget.

We were responsible for the preparation of all associated finish plans, finish schedules and material specifications for tender. We worked closely with the architect in the development of reflected ceiling plans and millwork details.
