Peterborough Public Library

Working with +VG Architects, Intercede was responsible for coordination furniture layouts, selection of finishes and preparing a wayfinding package for the massive Peterborough Library renovation. 

The spaces included reading areas for adults and children, including a teen area, study and multi-purpose rooms, common areas and administrative spaces. The furniture and finishes had not only to meet strict sanitary and durability criteria, but also be welcoming to patrons. The new children’s area on the ground floor with added lights, features bright furniture and play areas. This project was completed by Intercede Facility Management Ltd., a company owned by X-Design Inc. Our Project Leader worked closely with the library staff on this project.
